wooden bead lamp shade

Today Im feeling crafty.

This is a project I created for the fall issue.

If you know me you will know that I simply love wooden beads.

They remind me of my childhood when I would craft with them with my Mormor.

I also love to take something so simple as a wooden bead and turn it into something cool and chic.

This is a really easy project, you just need to find the right shade.

Flea markets and thrift stores are the best places.

Lamp shade

You need:

old metal shade base

wire cutter

large wooden beads

superglue

1.You will need a shade with a nice shape for this.

2.Cut off the end of the shade using a wire cutter.

3.Tread on the beads and secure each end bead with superglue.
