Warm Spiced Walnuts

These are great to make for guests during the cooler seasons. The coconut oil really adds a wonderful extra level of flavor to them!

 
You will need:

11⁄2 cups walnuts
1 teaspoon9 spice
powder1 tablespoon
coconut oil2
tablespoons light brown sugar
 
  1. Toast walnuts in a small skillet over medium heat until golden brown about 4 minutes.
  2. Add the coconut oil and then toss in the spices to coat.
  3. Add the brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of water and cook until it thickens a bit, about 2–3 minutes.
  4. Take off heat, pour onto a sheet pan, spread out, and let cool.
