This salt is not only beautiful to look at, but it's delicious on a piece of salmon, grilled chicken, or even sprinkled on a salad. The key is to use the best flaky salt you possibly can, and of course, using American-grown pistachios. Package this salt-blend into waxed paper envelopes or small jars and it makes the perfect edible gift!

Makes 1.25 Cup
1/4 cup California shelled pistachios
1 cup flaky sea salt like Maldon
- Toast the pistachios at 400F in a dry pan until golden. About 5 minutes. Allow to cool.
- Place the pistachios and 2 tablespoons of the salt in a blender or processor and blend until almost smooth.
- Mix into the rest of the sea salt and it’s ready to use.
