Serves 4

4 pears


1⁄2 cup maple syrup


2 tablespoons butter

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Peel the pears and cut them in half.
  3. Place pears in an oven proof dish and pour on the maple syrup.
  4. Add butter.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes, turn them over and bake for another 10 minutes.
  6. Serve à la mode.
